BiohackTested Editorial Team

Vendor reviews and compound guides are researched and written by the editorial team under the publisher's standards. Every vendor page shows the date it was last reviewed, and every compound guide shows when it was last updated.

How we review

  1. Documents, not marketing. We assess the evidence a vendor makes public: Certificates of Analysis, the laboratory named on them, and whether a certificate can be verified at the issuing lab rather than only on the vendor's own site. We do not commission our own lab tests, and we say so.
  2. Legal entity first. Where possible we confirm the company behind a store in a public business register before anything else.
  3. Independent reputation. Scores from independent review platforms are recorded with the date they were checked. Ratings hosted on the vendor's own site are not treated as independent.
  4. Every review lists weaknesses. A review without a documented weakness is not a review. Claims we could not verify are listed separately and never presented as fact.
  5. Ratings are calculated, not chosen. Every active vendor is scored out of 10 on six criteria. The star rating is the weighted average divided by two (lab transparency 30%, COA quality 20%, independent reputation 20%, shipping, catalog and value 10% each). The “Top Audited Vendor” on a compound guide is the highest-rated vendor whose live shop listed that compound at our last catalog check (17 October 2026). Coded names such as “GLP-3” count only where the vendor itself ties them to the compound. Being listed says nothing about the quality of that specific product; check the batch certificate.
  6. Chemical data is cross-checked. Molecular formulas, weights and CAS numbers on compound guides are verified against the NIH PubChem database.

How the site is funded

BiohackTested earns affiliate commission on some vendor links and discount codes. Commission does not affect ratings or rankings, no vendor sees a review before publication, and vendors we earn from carry documented weaknesses like every other vendor. Full disclosure and operator details are on thelegal notice.
